I have never felt like caving in just by looking into someone's eyes before. Amazing how the simplest emotions can deal the most deafening blows.

Tahini, olive oil, Salt and pepper, garbanzo beans, garlic.
Peel whole garlic cloves and place in food processor. Pulse until it's completely pulverized. Add once 20 oz. can of garbanzos with 1/2 to 3/4 of it's liquid. Next add a 20 oz. can of fully drained garbanzos. Process until it's mostly smooth. Add 2 Tbs. of Tahini, a Tbs. of lemon juice, 2 heavy pinches of kosher salt (NOT table salt!) and 7-10 grinds of black pepper (not gun powdered, canned, preground pepper). Process and stream in (very slowly) about 1/3 cup of olive oil until hummus is very smooth, airy and develops a slight sheen.
Cut a pita into triangles, slap it in the oven until it's nice and toasty, and then start dippin'.

In exactly one week, I will be boarding a plane with my bandmates (and Chris, of course) to Spokane, WA to play a three-night gig at the biggest casino on the west coast as the backing band for a really hot magician. I get to be in the magician's act, which is super. The casino is comping everything from the flight to the hotel accommodations and paying us $2,000 on top of it. Whhhaaat?
A woman from Universal Music Group came to our last show at Toad's Place. We'll be meeting her again soon...
So, that's all. I'll try to keep up with this thing more often than I have been. Until next time, here's another Angel-has-nothing-else-to-say survey...

Perhaps I'll update this thing for real...
I'm still at Guitar Center. It's alright. Nothing to scream about, but it's a job, nonetheless, and it pays the bills. Kind of. At least I'm working around instruments and get a ridiculous discount on all of them...
Makel's debut album is out at the end of the month. That's pretty exciting. It hasn't been cheap or easy, but it's worth it. Hopefully something good will come of this.
I'm still with John. Ten months or so. It's nice. I like being in a relationship that doesn't involve sitting on our asses all the time, watching television and getting bored with ourselves and each other. We learn about new things. We see new sights. We hear new sounds. We get up and take walks or play catch in the yard or drive to nowhere in particular. How refreshing! And yes, I am really his girlfriend. For real. For. Real. Something real. Real. Real...
